Greetings to all readers!

Goels Plaza has been very fortunate to complete its six years of success since August of 2004. While the first two years were quite a challenge but with the grace of God and our hard working staff, we were listed as #10 in year 2005 by Triangle Business Journal. Since then we continued going up the ladder and in 2009, we were listed among TOP-5 Banquet and Conference Facilities. This was quite an accomplishment, especially to compete among most public sector and multi-billion dollar entities. Our recipe for success is very simple, “Excellent Customer Service with sense of responsiveness and dedication”. Goels Plaza is the largest family-owned Banquet & Conference Center in Eastern Carolina. On our website, we have listed just a few Testimonials from our Clients and we encourage you to review those. Clean, modern, spacious, friendly, affordable, and enjoyable are frequently used terms by our clients about our facility. One of the best part in our service is that, unlike some of our competition, we do not surprise our customers after the event with untold charges such as additional taxes, service fees, gratuities, etc.

Our veteran staff helps our customers plan their events whether it is social or business and provide lots of complimentary services. In 2009 we hosted five High Schools’ Senior Prom in 5 consecutive weeks with gatherings between 500 to 900. All of those ended great >>. We offer to provide “One-Stop” service to all our clients, so they can come just like their guests and enjoy the event without worrying about managing it.

Our picture gallery exemplifies our creativity. Our location makes it easy for people from all over the Triangle to reach it without any hassle. Our relations with area hotels provide courtesy shuttle to our customers.

If you haven’t been here before, I invite you personally to take an appointment and have a tour.

Dr. Vinnie (Vinod) K. Goel, Ph.D., PE (CEO)

Background History: (Separate button):

In 2000, Dr. Vinnie K. Goel, CEO of NFE Technologies and his wife Vibha unveiled plans to construct an independent convention center in Morrisville, NC that would rival other facilities in the Triangle Region. The location was chosen purely for convenience of its users, minutes from RDU Airport and I-40, the complex would become easily accessible from Raleigh, Durham, Cary, Chapel Hill and surrounding municipalities.

By 2004, Goels Plaza Banquet and Conference Center, a 38,000 square foot multipurpose facility was completed. Today, it stands as one of the largest, most elegant, state-of-the-art premier facility of its kind for hosting a myriad of functions. “ Since its first anniversary in 2005, we have been consistently rated among the top 10 of Eastern Carolina, and in 2009 we were honored to be among the top 5 banquet facilities in the Triangle area, by Triangle Business Journal.” says Dr Goel. The center is complete with an impressive list of amenities: latest in conference (audio-visual-internet) technology and equipment, meeting rooms of various sizes, gorgeous banquet rooms, flexible room setups, custom catering, free parking, staff planners, shuttle service with hotels, and a reputation for excellence in services.

Dr Goel calls it a one-stop total solution. “For our business and social clientele, it’s imperative that we incorporate the ability to service their entire needs for any event,” he explains. For example, clients are not limited to one or two types of room setups. The center offers any number of formats that embrace client preferences along with staging, lighting, audio/visual and customized decorating.

We have received positive reviews from large and small businesses, organizations, churches, wedding planners, and individuals who have booked receptions and diverse cultural events,” Goel continues.

As one reviewer put it, “the Goels Plaza experience was absolutely stunning, very accommodating and excellent service from an exceptional staff. They went out of their way to provide everything we requested.”

Several fortune 500 companies plus a number of government institutions have hosted events there, including John Deere, Siemens, CarQuest, NCDENR, NC Bar Association, ACT, Wake County Public Schools, Red Robins Corporate HQ, and Frischkorn. “Our clients look for elegance in a modern facility which translates into a memorable experience,” Goel points out.“Our intent is to meet and exceed their every need.
